Lazy, as in completely doing nothing - just about breathing....  well, I am reading the few posts of the non sleepers like me, and replying once in a while  -  believe me and I do notice the lazy fingers results also when reading a reply to my post  -----  most awfull spelling...

Satelite maybe has been shot down ..   idontknow  no DSTV  -  just say's signal has been lost..blah blah.  The only day of the week that I do get a chance to watch TV.

Just ate my lunch  -  yep, past 5 in the afternoon.  Still waiting for the kids to get back with the meat - you know, I think they invited the rest of the young ones from town again and are having a massive braai.  It is school holidays and they can get up to a real load of bollie once they set their minds to it.  Creativity some people call it  -  I say they are on this true "soek vir k**" mission  -  those times where you have to sit them down, make them look you in the eye and have a good serious talk with them, make them understand what may happen to them right before you let fly the sambok!

Do you also find that you have that sort of 15th sense where it comes to your kids.  The one moment you know it's pure joy of being young - the types of things they do, and the next, you know you have to intervene and stop the actions or sports right there.  They hate you for like 3 days or a week  -  those looks can kill you, their lips make them trip, all that stuff.....  normal I say -  they are teenagers - they are supposed to hate you  -  darn, you are a parent and very, oh so very ancient, so what's not to hate about you when you repremand them and take their "fun" away?  Freedom is one thing  -  to run loose wildly is a total different zone.   Right  -  mamma is going to gatecrash their zone now and rob them of their fun for a while  -  I can sort of smell trouble in the air, don't know why.....   will tell you maybe later or tomorrow why my senses are warning me......

I know  -  and that's what I enjoy so much about the joy of it.  The kids still don't know how you know what you know when you know it...  ha ha ha

Hell, I never told you what them little buggers were up to the other Sunday!

Ja, they did invite the friends from town  -  the bloody booze smugglers!  NOGALS  -  the dominee's laaitie hijacked a bottle of wine from his dad and another one "accidentally discovered" half a bottle whiskey in his dad's place.  They were having a braai and a few doppe!  All of them -  the bliks....ms  -  meat all but forgotten!  Susan, only 16 now, included in the bundle  -  giggeling her head off.

Arriving there in full fighting mode  ------  pzzzzzzzzzzzzzt   they peed on my battery:  offered me a dop as well!  Joined them for one, then got them back to work again.

Ha  -  the nose of a mother!  You smell sh*t a mile away.

But I'd have to disagree with you there Dalene - a mother doesn't smell shit a mile away - she just knows what she got up to as a teenager!

Ja, but we never stole from Big Dirk (I would'nt be here if we did)  -  we worked during the holidays and bought our own dop to have our parties with!

cat3  Yippeeeeeeeee  Thomas is only turning 3 in November so still have quite a few years to prepare myself for that! lol

Think I am going to be a totally over protective mother.  Unfortunately Thomas will not have the advantage we had, to live in a town that was safe and life was so carefree.

notfair  I miss Oranjemund!

Don't sweat the small shit!
