Beach Braai Shelters

A lot of you old timers would remember those old wooden braai shelters that were strung out along the beach. Most of them got used as firewood after some people had one to many, and thus they were to be replaced by these structures, Needless to say they make a great platform for budding artists!

I remember those wooden shelters.  The bikers used to have breakfast runs and would occupy a few of these on a Sunday morning.

Charmaine, sadly they are all  long gone, the only wood left down there, besides the driftwood, is the boat sheds at the Yacht Club......

Being an expert in the field of beers, I would like to point out that the beer is actually a Windhoek export and not a WIndhoek lager, incidently, Export was my favourite beer....
