Rogue Wave on the beach!

I heard another interesting tale today... about a chap who was driving on the beach in his cruiser on one of the mornings of the weekend..... when suddenly outta the blue...a rogue wave rolled his landcruiser over.....then the backwash pulled it back upright again....the engine would'nt start and now the car is in the garage for repairs.... the wife and kids were in the car at the time.... just to give you an idea of how big the surf was here, the waves actually came up over the beach and flowed down to the road between the braai shelters..... now you know why the seawall went..... the ocean is a changing.....

I remember the waves reaching the braai shelters back in "The Day".  So yes Barbara

That day   .. there were actually quite a few  in the times i remember  .. right onto the road in front of the braai shelters ..  nothing new .. but yes maybe the patterns are changing ...

not That Day Sandy "THE Day"  our time...yes more than once reached the road. Maybe the ocean is just adjusting itself to the way it should be, like back in "THE day"

@ Diana .. the day  I never recall the earth moving for us ? and waves doing the accompinent  ? ?  or were we both just dronk ??  hey waht matters  we good friends reunited many years later .. so loet the waves rolll ...

Maybe it was  at the  oranjemund ' woodstock festival "  see pic me  slightly alcohol &  drug crazed ...  or further down the road .. mc dougals a few  year later ??    Take a guess .. but i se now huge wave moving in .. did you ??
