Hi Michael.
Recently I read that there are no more knowen cases of mad cow disease. If I remember well, the first cases occured in England. Do you think it's starting off again and this time initiated by humans??

Georg
went to a lecture recently - and you are mistaken about mad cow disease.

I have added a link for your reading pleasure - sorry it's in English maybe you can use some of the words to look for German articles.

Ja boet we are...............

Until several years ago, it was thought that the cattle prion disease bovine spongiform encephalopathy -- also called BSE or mad cow disease -- was a foodborne disease. But new findings suggest that mad cow disease also is caused by a genetic mutation within a gene called Prion Protein Gene. Prion proteins are proteins expressed abundantly in the brain and immune cells of mammals.

Hi Jacs, hows the packing going? Sorry Pau and I arn't there to help  ha ha

We had a good laugh the other night...David has to do his driving test all over again because the DVLA here in the UK don't recognize the Namibian driving licence. idontknow Funny thing is, they recognise Zims driving licence, can't figure that one, anyway you can imagine, David's not impressed.

Anyhow he's bought the books and DVD to start leaning and the other night we put the DVD on the computer and we all did the test. David and Noel haven't done it yet but Charl, Dean, Greg and I failed......Paula passed and she doesn't drive over here. OMG! I don't hear the end of it now.  Mind you they say don't drink and drive, so that must apply to, don't drink and do the test.  I'm going to do my again without a bottle of red wine. image281

Paula and Noel's Namibian licence was returned but thank goodness they still have their licence in their SA ID book which we're now going to send.  Watch this space for the results.
