I had a great afternoon.  Had to go to 9 SA Infantry battalion, which isn't far from Strand, so I decided to pop into Hugo van Rooyen's Sportz Pub.  Finished all their Hansa Tafels, and had a great chat with some old OMD'ers.  Really enjoyed the chat with "Stokkies" (Anton) van Schoor.  Oranjemunders are everywhere, and somehow there just seems to be this something special between us - what is in that town that bonds us like this?  but it's wonderful!

Please let me know where the pub is as I am coming over in about 2 months and will be looking up some ex-Oranjemunders that now stay in the Strand and Somerst West.  Would be good to look up others as well . . .
