This might sound really stupid..... but it has been on my mind for awhile....... throughout my days living and working in Oranjemund, as Like me , many men have had the pleasure of having a piss (a leek!) at the various pisspots scattered throughout the mine and town.... One in particular was the one at the Appie training centre just south of 4 plant, when you stood there, pointing percy..... you could stare out the window.... all you could see towards the east was miles and miles of sand... I often wondered how many other "like" places had such views...... Chamais Gate also springs to mind...

I remember when I was in OPS, I went with my father to Uubvlei for some reason or other.  Along the way my father stopped to show me a warning sign.  I have forgotten the exact wording but in general it said that'
