Challanging the Namib Dune Sea!

I found this of most interest. This was an article that MIke Burgess, Gerald Hodgson and a few of the other MOTHS found in the Windhoek archives in 1999, whilst they were attending a MOTH conference in Tsumeb.

They were actually searching for the whereabouts of a German Military camp at the archives when the found this.

This article is about a few expeditions into the Namib Dune sea in the mid and late 60's to prove and test the various water holes that were said to be scattered along the barren Namib dune coast.
