Well as you know, quite a few of the houses in Oranjemund have not been occupied for quite AWHILE now.... Rhona, I was driving past your old house at 6-7th avenue and decided to plod around the garden...... it's looking pretty trashed and they stole your Xmas tree...... the big port Jackson around the back is now just a stump........

I see from the lounge pic that the houses still have those wooden picture rails on the walls. My mom used to have these fancy brass hooks that hooked on there from which the pictures hung. Must say I have never seen this other than in O'mund. I would have thought they would have done away with them by now. That and the claw and ball foot furniture are O'mund to me.

Thanks for the pics Mikey.....place looks so comppletely different; but definitely looks like it has potential; such a pity to witness good buildings being left to the elements...........sigh! if only I could nail those 6 numbers in the lotto
