Ok... the cat is outta the bag, here is part of an article from the local tabloid, the Informante newspaper....

In essence Oranjemund is to host 9 States of Heads from Angola, SOuth Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Mozambique,  Bob MUgabe is coming to Omund...... Who would have ever have thought .......

The private enteprise community held a meeting yesterday where they were informed to expect upto 1500 visitors flocking to Oranjemund for the above event...

In my opinion, it's gonna be chaos..... imagine 9 cavalcades sirens blaring through the streets of our gem town....

Where on earth is this mob gonna sleep..... Will Zuma sing bring me my Machine gun in the Snooker and darts club, Will Bob evict some people from their homes whilst he is here....

This is gonna be one helluva interesting week....

The party gets better...... Wayne from conservation phoned me today from Rosh Pinah, his ministry has instructed him to ask all Landrover owners in OMund to join the convoy as they enter town via Swartkops hill and drive in tandem down to the Rugby club on the said date....

Landrover appears to be one of the bigger sponsors...
