Drove pasty the Cricket field this morning, almost fell outta my bakkie, the entire building is being repainted....... on the hockey field, there are two large tents being put up with lots of people running around, also noticed in town that there are already a large number of foreign/ gov/pol cars driving around....... as the tension builds....

So the paint job at the cricket is complete and all things are on the go down at the hockey and cricket fields.... in prep for the big day 2morrow..... however a source informs me that the ugly white boundary rope and the damaged screens are staying in place... those wooden screens we spoke about in here , two years ago...

look 10 times worse now and should be removed for this event, it will not look good on all those camera's...

Two years, heck, you thought they would have removed them by now......

Jen is wondering what is going to happen to Ceu's Daycare Centre during these festivities, as her building borders on the Hocke fields and opposite the cricketr Fields.

The rain is now howling down, wind is blowing a gale, sources down at the Hockey and cricket fields inform me that the tents have blown over,..... it's gonna take the rest of the day to resurrect them......... no body injured......
