BRING THE KIDS AND OUMA WITH YOU. A BRAAI FIRE WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT WANT TO BRING AND BRAAI. BAR OPENS AT 18H00 AND SOCIAL FUN BOWLS START AT 18H30.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE PLAYED BOWLS BEFORE TO ROLL THAT BIG MARBLE DOWN THE GREEN..... IT'S FUN FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY!

Sorry Michael !! I  will not be able to make it, the transport service there is hopeless.

I don't no if your bowling club doe's the same as they do here and that's bare foot bowling.

Its very well attended by a lot of young folks and gets the family out, usually its done on Sundays......................................................................

We thought that it would be more fun to do it on a cold miserable winter night.....   

The one nice thing, is the roaring braai fire right next to the field, put a wee bit of wors and a chop on , whilst playing....

Was a pleasant evening down at the bowls, we played 16 ends..... 12 players, all amatuers, except for "young "Terrence Holland who kept claiming that he never played the sport before..... I also believe the club managed to recruit 6 new members last night..... here starts good things....

Also heard from mom and dad, that young david's  trek to land of the long white cloud if drawing to a close and the youngster, who likes hitting gemsboks with his car during the wee hours of the morning shall indeed be returning to Omund..... Dave just bring us some movies back....
