Rumour mill has it that a prominent local Cheetahs supporter made contact with an immoveable object in his car after the final on Saturday but, rather surprisingly, can't find anything about it on the site.  Anybody out there know anything?

Mike Voden (RIP)

Sounds ominous, anyway how many prominent cheetahs supporters are there in Oranjemund?  Surely you don't mean "Big Mike" our son-in-law..................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Mike what are you keeping quiet about?

The rumour mill is true yes. Contact was made between a certain Cheetahmobile and a non-moving object on Saturday night.
And then the driver of the Cheetahmobile chose to tell his wife in front of the month-end queue at Spar on Sunday morning!

But give the Cheetah supporter his due, he would have walked if it were not for his wife insisting that one of her Cheetah cubs be home as soon as the game was finished!

Me thinks it would have been cheaper for said Cheetah supporter to have gone to Pretoria to watch the final instead!

Er! Well, it was dark, and it must be said that the a Portuguese bowling mate of mine also had his bakkie klapped from behind by one of Oranjemund's rogue tree's.......

We should all stop watering these menaces......

Will post the snap of the cheetahmobile sometime this week.....

The blerrie panel beater took one look at the cheetah stickers on the back of the bakkie, enquired if the "accident " occurred after the CC final and then wanted to know if it was due to frustration that I rear-ended with a tree....

Sorry Mike... S**t happens...

I went past you know who to collect his dishwasher and coincidentally saw the evidence; prior to reading your responses on this topic... I saw the tracks on the grass and started to laugh... it all made sense.

Bummer!

The tree   jumped   out  infront   of the   reversing   bakkie .

Yep, and when are you going to come pick up your glass shard on the lawn in front of my house... Andre Lankhaar is counting his lucky starts that there was a tree between you and his car though!!!!

Skinny

There seems to be a problem with "BLUEIS BULLEOUSIS". Its a kind of tree that is closely related to the "WHISKEYITIS DROWNING SORROWLIS" which is very common in our town. It seems to thrive on Saturday afternoons after every sport game that is played with a funny shaped ball! However you can get it removed by the specialist tree remover PANELBEATERIS COST A FORTUNIS. Heard he does a good job..... I-T-O  with one of these......hammer
