Attempted Robbery in Dublin

An armed robbery went wrong in a Jewelery Store in Irelands capitol - Dublin.........
Three armed robbers entered the shop with the intention of making a quick buck; They told the shop workers to hand over the money and jewelry while one of them caught one of the ladies by the throat - Big mistake!!! It was the shop owners wife and he just lost the plot.......grabbed the gun from the robber and beat him with it... One of the robbers is in hospital with a fractured skull while the other two are arrested; as they ran off - somebody tripped them

Pretoria - A man was shot dead while another shot himself in the groin during a robbery in Pretoria, police said on Saturday.

Three men entered a house in the Queenswood suburb of Pretoria at about 20:00 on Friday.

They held up the occupants of the house and stole a gun, cellphones, jewellery and money.

A family member shot one of the robbers in the head and he died on the scene, while his accomplices fled on foot.

One of them was caught by a security company in the area and held them in a car.

While he was trying to take out a gun which was he was hiding in his pants when he shot himself in the groin.

He was later rushed to hospital under police guard and was charged with house robbery, possession of an unlicensed firearm and possession of stolen items.

The third suspect was still at large, said Weilbach.
