Clint Ebstein Not to Return to Oranjemund!

According to reliable telephonic sources, Ex Oranjemund resident, Clint Ebstein denies  that he shall be returning to his hometown. All attempts to lure this one time ladies man back to his old haunts has failed. Information made available to this website , implies that the beaches at Luderitz are more to Mr. Ebstein's liking. Mr. Ebstein further denied that the howling winds at Luderitz had any influence on his decision.

"Well now.  I seem to sense some jealousy coming through from certain quarters on the Omnd website.  It is true...  I am not planning to move back to my beloved homeland at this point.  I at least, was not afraid to leave the gilded cage, which is Omnd, and which is also not so gilded anymore...  I was brave enough to leave, and go into the wide outside world, where things are more "real" than in Omnd.  And no, not even the howling wind in the Bucht is enough to deter me from finding my place in the big wide bad outside world.  Yes, I will miss all my old haunts, and maybe also being the "ladies man" but those will now be fond memories.  A place from my childhood as well as my young stud days.  Unlike some people, I have managed to grow up, and not stay stuck in the past, trying to relive days gone by...
I do sincerely hope that Omnd will stay strong, and not succumb to other towns that have seen their demise due to lack of interest...  May Omnd live on forever...

On a separate note..... Ex Oranjemund pensioners, Marlene and Peet Bezuidenhout were talking to me yesterday in Spar and they are trying to return to Oranjemund to retire.... this might get interesting.....
