Well not as great as the Great Great Flood of 1988, but here are three short clips , without sound of various spots taken of the flood of 2010 at it's peak.....

(The format for these clips is in Mpeg4, Divx/Xvid, for those of you who can't get the clips to play, ensure you have the following codecs installed!) I Use VLC Player , it plays alles!

The Following Clip was taken today, from the top of the Swartkops Hill, sorry for the poor video quality, I used my camera instead of a video camera, but you can still see the flood of 2010.

We were never allowed that near the river in the sixties, only if you had a vehicle garaged there, and you were entering or leaving town. So Oranjemund is saved or is there more to come.......................................
