Ok! Ok! Maybe nothing to this...... But usually when I head down to the mouth on a friday morning, the place is deserted,..... As I parked my bakkie and headed onto the warm sands, A canoe suddenly appeared through the mist, taking off from the Namibian bank of the river.... there were no other people or vehicle parked on the Namibian side..... the canoeist paddled away towards the centre of the mist filled river...... with the grey wet mist encompassing him he pointed towards the South African side of the Sandbar....... it was then that I noticed figures standing on that bank...... I grabbed my trusty camera and zoomed in...... Fisherman I thought? There were rods....... there was also a rubber dinghy....... and to be honest why were they there on a Friday morning..... nobody comes down here at that time...... the canoeist still paddling, broke through the mist as he crossed the mouth to join his accomplices.....

Perhaps nothing in it all........ But why was he in Namibia..... why did he start to paddle away, when I pulled up...... dog in hand........

As I stood at the mouth snapping photo;s of the group..... they clambered aboard there vehicles and drove away.,....

Mmmh! Strange I thought to myself.......

30 minutes later, when Shadow and I returned to our bakkie and started to drive away..... the group suddenly reappeared on the southern bank....

Make nothing of it......

But just my 2 cents from the beach this morning....
