Heard from a source that last week, a skipper on one of those wee diamond boats operating just off Alexander Bay (not DeBeers), recovered a 61 Carat Diamond from the ocean...

Got to talk to the said Skipper today in Spar, he smiled when talking about the stone, went on about he would normally get about 30 odd carats for 5 days....... Turns out that even though the stone is a 61 carat, it will not be worth that much, as it is off an inferior quality...... Sad!
