Ladies football   ,  not much  to add..   except that they were a formidable  looking bunch of wimmin .... a  sort of dont mess with us amazonian look ...     cat3
I will hazard a guess   thats if they were in Om already front row  cross  legged  looks  strangely like a young Monica Barnes  (  the hospital matron )   then again she was  to my recollection  more gentlewomanly and  would  most probabaly not have indulged in the rough tumble of  soccer ...

Ok got  it now Mavis  thanks  for the prodding  ....  Looking carefully  the  jawline and facial structure  now ,,, just that I seem to remember  your Mum not looking  so formidable  and  also  correct me  going grey  very  early in life  and  of course a different hairstyle  to my  remembering of her ...

Sorry Mavis!! ........the only one that stands out is the guy third from the right, bottom row would not have a clue to his name though ...............well spotted Michael a very young Angelina Jolie  yellocard    in the Lady's group. Mavis you say that lady with the crossed legs in the front row is your Mum, she is the one directly  below Angelina Jolie I would say......... Love the goalkeepers attire.......great memories. .......................................................................................... image04

Brain cudgelling doesn't work too well with memory, it only gives you a sore head.  The best I can dredge up for the women's team: 2nd from left, standing, Aubrey Baker's wife Pearl.
Men's team: 2nd from left, front row, Biff Hannibus; 4th from left, Vic Nortje; fifth from left, Eddie Jones.
