Passport applications

Can any one tell me if we are still allowed to apply for our Nambian passports via an agent or family member?  Was in contact with some one in Windhoek who did our police clearance and they say that we are not allowed to do it like that any more and that we should apply in person at a Namibian embassy here in Australia, and ofcourse we have no Embassy here.  Isn't that just GREAT!!!!!!!!

Mike should be able to help you..... there's a ad posted up in spar from a agent that does passports and documents.
They in Windhoek... can't remember the exact details..

Hi Mike,
Don't know if it is the same agency (think it might be).  They are called Bouwer Agency.  We did our police clearance through them, and they said that we should apply in person.  I also emaild the wonderful High commission/Embassy in Windhoek and gues what, the email came back.  Now isn't that just wonderful.  Got their email address from the governtment website.  Doesn't surpise me at all that it came back.

So not having a good day!!!!!

Anyways, will appreciate it.  So many stories going about re how to apply for a passport.  Not sure who or what to believe.

Thanks Mike, got your message.  Contacted them.  They will see what they can find out for me.  Also mannaged to speak to some or other guy at the embassy/foreing affairs on Friday after I almost blew up.     Seems like we have to work through the embassy in Malaysia, doesnt' make any sence and he couldn't answer me on that either    , so will wait for the agent to get back to me.
