Ha-ha, dont think Sandy will have any free time for the next few days to scan, etc,etc.... We'll just have to wait until we can visit!

Well helloo ,, first day .. considering the year barely out of holiday mode and all businesses not yet open or locals not yet back from holiday our day did well ,, a slow start .. not much in the way of breakfasts , I left at 10:30 to do shopping for ingredients ,, dropeed of the first lot ,, saw some feet in the door ,, then went off again for more ingredients, got back at lunchtime ,, had to do the drive by to go fetch the afternoon paper ,, well I cried tears of gratitude I saw the front balcony full of people , a 35 % plus inside .. businees meetings being conducted etc .. and now we still getting a trickling of folk we have reached our theoretical break even point on first day ... I am gobsmacked ... thanks for all the support and good wishes ...

Well second day going .. cash inflow improving each day ,, I took some pics .. one a senior colleague his wife and daughter popped in .. the front at lunchtime and a snap of the balcony with patrons ...

bear in mind that people still have moola at this time of the month, come the 20th, it might get a bit tight, on the other hand, maybe that's just in mining towns....

well first week went of nicely considering the time of year , that we dont yet have a credit card machine installed , Saturday breakfast and light meal run netted more than the week days .. next week a lot of businesses in the area start up again , now we wait and see ...
Me dog tired , cannot wait to get back tomorrow to my job of managing people and resources , this week has been one of trying to keep the landing without skidding ,,, From tomorrow Paul is on his own ,
