I was going through my music collection, and found two songs that Georg Ruf had sent me about two years ago. Whilst playing the tunes, I was going through my photographs and saw a photo of my dad playing music..... It got me to thinking about those hazy days in Oranjemund, when we never had the internet or TV..... how quite a number of folk could play various musical instruments.... how concerts, braai's and parties were the order of the day.......

Here are two tunes that i enjoyed from Georg, I hope you enjoy them also....

The music can also be found on Georg's homepage, LINK: http://www.dersofaladen.de/georg/html/sudwestlied.html

I reckon that it is the world over, technology has changed the way we entertain ourselves... but heck! what I would give for a good ol' fashioned sing song with a dude in the corner singing a simon & garthfunkel number....
