Georg, Great to see you gaining your strength old friend, .....

Between you and Joco.... you have a lot of history, it is funny that you mention the tank farm, as I have heard this week from reliable sources , that DeBeers are alledgedly indeed the stumbling block against the Kudu gas project, a prominent politician was in talks this week with the minister and it apparently turns out that De Beers is demanding N$700 million for the loss of diamond mining rights for the gas folk to run an undersea pipeline  over their licensed area to provide the gas fired power station at Uublvley with energy.... so this might seem appropriate.... but it shall get interesting if my sources turn out to be correct...  ( for all you newspaper folk that trawl this site for tales... from the deep south..... this is not confirmed , but what I heard.....)

The picture is the announcement of the next Lot that i will post to you, i wanted to leave at your discretion what should go in to the forum

This is the first time I've seen that flag fly on the clubhouse mast. I cannot recall it ever in my time. But then I was not interested in flags so most likely paid no attention to what flags were unfurled.

Hello there!

Our family lived in Oranjemund from around 1974 to 1978 when we returned to England. I was around 9ish years old then.
The sailing pictures look like Dad, Brian Mewett, old Enterprise with the blue sails!

We had fabulous times at the Yacht club.

Will have to show these photos to him. Alot of our old ones are very degraded now.
