Michele and I were summoned to the Oranjemund Lower COurt on Monday, to testify against an ex employee...... first time that I was in the court.... interesting to say the least.... a lot of nodding and messengers screaming for people out on the street.... when we were called to the stand at about 15h00 on Monday, we were told that the case had been moved to Tuesday, the prosecutor told me to come and see her early on Tuesday morning.. which I did.... she then told me to go back to work, they would call us when they needed us..... easy as SPAR is just across the road..... tuesday came and went...... Nothing, not a peep..... it's now Wednesday 16h34 and we are yet to hear from the court....... Sigh! Is this what they mean when they state that the wheels of justice turn slowly.....

I think its because our Traffic Officers have been doing such a good job.

Lots of unpaid traffic fines and drunken driving cases have to be heard.  sorriso2

The TRAFFIC Cops here , are doing an awesome job, lot of folk moaning, but, they are fair, you break the law, you gonna pay....... at least our traffic cops are working and not snoozing under a tree next to the highway.....

On another note, I got the messenger of the court in Spar late last night, "When am I gonna have my day in court", I growled..... (yes! I typed growled).... turns out one case just took one and a half days to finish.... seem;s our case will get moved on to April some day....
