I walked to Spar this fine morning, passing Gertrude and her morning creche of four..... as per protocol, I greeted as I do with most of the Gemsboks that reside in our little town....

Glancing up, I noticed tourist types..... non locals, Outsiders, clambering from their EC car.... staring in disbelief at this entourage of wild crossing the zebra crossing.... the father holding tight to his youngest..... they headed to an early lunch at the Jasper house whilst Gertrude and co munched on the tree branches hanging over Barend's garden fence....

Is that a babysitter type Gemsbok ? the one looking after the 4 young ones ?
