Here are a few varied photographs from ex Oranjemunder Pierre Strauss. Nice one's of the aftermath of the infamous power station fire...

"I heard sometime ago about oranjemundonline from my son. I lived in Oranlemund from May 1970 to December 1981. My address was 32/13. I worked in the powerstation till it burned down in April 1978. It was a very nice 11 and a half years. It realy was the years of milk and honey. The third photo in your section on the swimming bath, is a photo of my children, Heinrich and Anneke Strauss. They were both taught swimming by mrs. Lindhoudt, Cora Olivier's mother. I had a look in the forum and saw a lot of names that I still remember.
