Just heard that a sedan car with 4 occupants rolled on the infamous government maintained North Bank road about an hour ago, I believe one occupant has been knocked out and the other three are mobile. The accident occurred about 45km from the Swartkops gate.

Will be interested to know if the condition of the road played any influence....

Believe that one lady had to be flown out for treatment, something about the neck?

Seem's they were en route to Oranjemund, on was a patient from Rosh Pinah and was heading to Oranjemund Hospital for treatment......

Reports of the Ambulance from Rosh Pinah being spotted in Oranjemund were confirmed three hours after the initial report of the accident....

Just for the record, this accident had absolutely nothing to do with the condition of the road as it occurred on a straight section with good visibility and not obvious reason why the driver would have left the road.  Despite all the crying and wailing that goes on about this road (and, yes, there are sections which require attention), the majority of accidents are due to driving conduct and habits so let's stop always looking for excuses.  Real safety Begins With ME!!
