Received the following piece of sad news from Neil,

"Yes i would like you to add my dads name to the list of lost diamonds. He died  Sunday 23 March 2014 after a short period of suffering with lung cancer.
He lived from 07/02/43  - 23/03/14. Worked at CDM from 1975 - 1981. Worked in survey at first and then in the planning office. He also wrote the golf club's handy cap system. '

I personally did not know Neil Snr, but Loved the part above about writing the Golf Club's Handy Cap system, another small part of our town's unique history,
