Haha! Got an email from CNN in London, seem's like they are on their way to Oranjemund to see the shipwreck...... You guys recall the shipwreck? The one that could have been a major tourist attraction for our little town, the one that everyone wanted to be photographed with and then forgot?

CNN thought that whilst they are down covering the "invisible" shipwreck they might look at the town.... The people, the history and the future.....

Well in my opinion, that ship sailed, as I told them, come to town, let me give you the history lesson, show you around, expain perhaps why there are WW2 tanks in our little corner of our beautiful land, and how the leadership climbed on the wrong boat.....

Looking forward to seeing the Inside Africa crew here next weekend...... Think I might frustrate a few folk!

This town could have been something..... A voyage to a new example in Africa!

Whoa! Nice. Can you get a copy onto your server for us mense in the foreign plekke to stream? Or can the producers store it for us to download? Free, for niks? Vra vir hulle.

So back to the CNN story.....

Did they produce a story or did they forget about it?

it was produced, but due to it being a 21 minute segment, they focused on the Spergebiedt, Bogenfels and blew off the town....

They still emailed me afterwards to apologise , but it was out of their hands...

I think you can find the episode online at the CNN website, inside Africa!
