It appears that most of the interesting postings are from Ex/oranjemunders from the 1965 plus era. It would be fantastic to find out if any of our generation are still around!! I saw that Cora Lindthoudt's daughter is on site. Will be interested to make contact with Frank Devlin,Chris Bruce, Brian Eklin Tony (Babara) Snow, Frieda JAnsen, Glenda Hughes Kretchmar sisters, Marlene Liebenberg(??) Poindgester brothers, van Schalkwyk brothers etc just to name a few.

Hey Mike, carefull now, there is old, older and the aged.
Those that still write, those that type and those that have a grasp of technology albeit however slight

The aged can still dictate, if the are not able to type or grasp technology.  No excuse.........  (we shall not blame them for spelling errors etc.)

Last I heard about Chris Bruce (my cousin) was that he was in Singapore. I last saw him in Jhb.

Hi there,
Rob Tks for the info re Chris. I was rather amused at the one comment w.r.t. our older generation regarding the computer litracy. I do believe that some of us or rather let me rephrase that most of us golden oldies should be able to use the P.C.. So come on all you "Golden Oldies" lets hear from you.

Hi there Diana,
I don't want to seem to too sensitive but reading most of the transcripts on this site the majority of the chats give me the impression that we "golden Oldies (teens) emanate during the 50's and b4.Lionel

If you have a look at the Birthdays on the main page of this forum, you will see the ages of most users, I would say, most are born in the 60's..... I only realised last night, that even though I was born in March 1970... I was conceived in the 60's........ Rock n roll!

That's a desperate attempt to claim stakes on being a kid from the 60's -but heck okay why not.

Ja Barb, you're so right.  The one minute they pick on us for "being old", the next they go to such lengths to be one of our generation!

So who was it that said the thing about good looks keeping just for ...... and then brains kick in!
