Oh, the memories!!
Yes, I aslo got some jerseys way back as presents from mum after I left Oranjemund. I am very sentimental and hung on to a yellow knitting machine knitted jersey which at this moment is in storage. I will dig it out soon and put the picture on for you to see! I never wore it though! It is still "new".
Yes, please post some pictures!
All the best for the New Year!
Cheers! cheers
:)

bev...from yorkshire

Hi Bev, Yes, I just remembered! I think I wrote to you from the sareunite site? Howzit going your way? You were looking for an old friend at that time? Is'nt it a good site with all the pictures from yesteryear? It got my rusty old brain going again, although there is so much that I have forgotten and now rediscovering. My computer is in storage and had been for more than 2 years now because we are travelling around Australia and working here there and everywhere. Only got online again recently with a laptop which is heaven sent. A gift from our daughter and her partner. It is HOT today and oh so humid and we are in a caravan park in the middle of New South Wales. Glad you recognised my name. I recognise a few names but not sure if we knew each other way back. Keep well and have a great New Year. Cheers, Julie.  :auguri1:

Hi Stirling,

You won't remember me (I was MUCH younger than you  laughpoint ), but I remember Vanessa very well. I was her 'fag' at high school when I was in St. 6 and she was in matric. Did her bed, emptied her bin, etc, etc ... slavery in the 80's  notfair
