Thanks Michael. I asked Michele about this plaque befor.
Could you say what he did for the community? He was the dad of my pals. So I just don't know much about what he did in town.

Re Ivan Morrow - as far as I can recall Ivan was THE community man, organising and involved in everything - for free - without complaint - wind - against the odds. This was in days of a closed town - this man organsied circuses, acrobatic displays, fairs, you want it done - speak to Ivan.

Ivan Morrow was Mr Oranjemund.

Seem to remember he was involved in Scouts as well - amongst all his other community work

I think he was initiator of the log cabin. And it may be, that he had something to do with the beginnings of shepards neck.
If boy scouts, it must have been in the 60s or early 70s. At least before his boys joyned up. Cause that was my time to and I woul know. Maybe somebody knows more. Tried a topic on boy scouts before.
