Hi mike and Michelle, what lovely kids you have. I must say, Cammeron looks like her mum and Shannon looks like you. What a lovely family you have. Take care. Sharon

What a lovely happy looking family. Well done to you both. Pats on the back all round. We won't hold that against you either Michele. (Being English and all that). LOL. My ROOTS are also from that neck of the WOODS.

If memory serves correctly I'm pretty sure that it was the Scotsman who asked the English woman to marry him, I felt sorry for him and had to say yes! Besides - I'm half Cornish so Mike's dad reckons that makes me half Celtic!

Mike - just you wait till you get home tonight!

Sympathy to you all, I grew up in a house with a scottish mom and english/cornish dad.  Kinda like you two in reverse -
Fun fun and history, from two perspectives.
England has been run by the scots from time memorial as far as I can see.  Still is.

Both my folks are/were English, but were/are really gooooood mates with the Alexander's and, your dad Mike, told me I would end up marrying a Scot's man one day, and guess what, I am married to a Scot's man, not bad looking either.....I think it was the kilt that tickled my fansy....or maybe the way he spoke....

Shazz!, (Mike here, using Michele's Pc), If you look under the topic Kannie Worrie, you will see a pic of your dad playing the mouth organ at Casey's with my dad and Boab Ferrie, I'm busy converting a video to DVD for my dad.

Michael & Michelle,

You have gorgeous kids!  How about a spot on the site for family pics of old Oranjemunders and how they look now with kids 'n all?

Cherry

Michael Alexander

Hi Cherry, I like that idea a lot, kinda like a then and now, with all the additions(kids), would you say it should be over on the new site, or rather a new board in the Forum section? The Forum section would be easiest and  more user friendly!! what do the rest of you think? I think it's a great idea Cherry had...!

I see last night  we had great chatter in here. With a record posting for the month occurring between 9 and 10 pm.... really enjoyable....   :D

Hi again,

Perhaps a new spot on the site as I think you'll find the Forum will get seriously cluttered - assuming we're all super proud of our kids and not worried about showing how much we've all aged.

Of course, we all still feel the same age as we were then!  My kids think I think I'm still 18 but they are oh so wrong - 18 was a crappy age!  Rather a good 25 year old wine maybe? (I wish!)
