Josef Fritzl - An Austrian gone wrong.

Here are some pics and info I found on this case.

Austrian Police describing the cellar: "A well planned and built windowless dungeon of small rooms, interlinked by narrow passages".

"Minute attention to detail and meticulous planning by Mr Fritzl led to him not being discovered sooner".

"An elaborate system of electronic locking devices, designed and built by Josef Fritzl himself, secured the cellar".

His first interview with police: "I wasn't happy with the family I was given, and needed to create my own "pure" family".   (Spot the underlying reference to Hitler?)

Talk about a sicko. Lets see what happens in court.

A bully only pushes until you push back and then they move on to the next...

unless he locks you in a cellar of your family home making it really difficult for you to push back to hard, I would imagine the punishment for insubordination and non compliance would have been even more neglect and possible food rationing.

Mind boggling - she is an incredibly strong person to have survived, and I am more interested in how she and the children manage to cope than the fathers fate.

He has shown no remorse and I can't sit in judgment, but I know that he will pay very heavily for his ways - bad karma, no light in his soul,

Imagine being 17 and never seeing anything other than the inside of the cellar and 4 people - ? 

What is the mystery illness that the sick daughter has, and why suddenly reveal her to the world, what would have happened if he the father died ?
