Errrrrr Ummmm Stephanie, for the life of me I don't remember. He was about 5'7'", thinnish, bald patch on the crown of his head and sort of freckley. Cherry help me here, by the there's three of us. Was his name Brand maybe? 

I know the boys hostel master was Mr Grobbelaar and the girls Mr Genis.   Oh, Cherry and I can tell you story's.....about drains,behind the stage,ending up in Mariental......(it wasn't me Sir it wasn't me) and things.
Ahhh and here we we are to-day, two well established women.

Stephanie, I remember a birthday party at your place. Must have been in '78 or '79 (before we all buggered off to boarding school). Your mom had organised a fondue and everytime the piece of meat came off your fork and fell into the pot, you got to a guy or girl around the table ... by the end of the evening, there was more meat cooking in the pot than in our bellies ...

@Stephanie - The headmaster in my time was Mr. Crossman. He took over the reins at the boys hostel as well after the previous hostel master, Kallie Fourie, got fired for indecent activities.

See you are still as pretty as ever.  I know I have blanked out large portions of my childhood, but honestly don't remember the fondue party - the kissing must have been terrible!  I do however have fond memories of spin the bottle!

Queenstown Girls High....yes weidemanns' i do remember the trips, i was usually picked up at about 5am by a bus load of QC boys!! :)

I confess that I went to a number of schools - thrown out of Wynberg; almost thrown out of Wellington (Huguenot) and landed up at Centaurus!

@Diana, can't remember the headmaster's name but vaguely remember his "pendulum talk" everytime I was in the crap!  Remember the funny Afrikaans teacher - the short fat one who reeked of alcohol, cigarettes and mints - yech!

Oh yes I remember,but not the name, then there was "Blou'is",and that hunky teacher Mr.Jordaan. Much like me Cherry.....we got around.

i was at marist brothers rondebosch.... myself dennis procter,wayne wilson,owen de jager,mike spires ,greg spires, anthony gillespie, charlie huntley,graeme roberts............ cant think of any others......... remember principal brother not liking omund kids much, he forgot our parents were buying his bloody booze and ciggies and food with our privelidge of being educated at a private school and paying more for it. he always referred to omund guys as"COME HERE ORANJEMUND and then your name!!!! oh well we still benefitted in the end.
