@ Rhona - Yes, they got the gift!  I managed to get Mike's cell no from the Spar in O'mund (whose number I got from International inquiries), and left them a note about the gift.  So, after a detour of about 4 apartments, it was delivered to them by one of the residents, and Michele phoned me when they received it!
Mike had a competition with the guys from the block of apartments across the road who apparently also had a braai on their balcony - to see who can make the biggest fire on their balconies!  Haven't heard the fire brigade driving past last night, so I presume the building is still standing!?
Oh, how I wish I could pop over quickly to visit you guys in the Isles and Germany!  Will have to work out a route - so many people I would like to visit.  Still haven't had any response to my letter which I posted to Santa regarding out-of-season renting of the sleigh!

  I can just picture Mike pouring petrol on the braai so his flames would be higher - what is it with boys and competition?

I'm in the process of building a new house at the moment; which should be completed by Christmas - maybe you could hitch a ride with santa!

   Like they say, what differentiates men from boys is the size of their toys, or braai fires in Mike's case...

Very true Carl - never mind the whole place could of gone up in a puff of smoke - so long as our boy had the biggest flames.......Maybe the guy from the other balconie was Rhodes

Carl & Rhona - I wish I could have seen the competition!  It's a beautiful building, with nice big balconies.  Well, maybe he was held back a little, due to the fact that his bakkie was parked in the basement, right under the said fire!  I managed to take a snap of it early morning when I couldn't reach them!  True Cheetahs supporter - check out the stickers on the back.

Bertie I see in the pic that there is a surveillance camera .. dont tell me  .. your face going tobe on the wanted  pages .. Bertie the spy .. see the MIB follow Mike around all the time and now they going to  want to know  which secret  oranisation  you belong to .. or if there duplication  .. or if you messing on their turf ...

Nah, Carl, I couldn't see the front - the picture was taken through a heavy security gate.  I'm sure Mike will comment on the furs and oranges when he's back in Oranjemund tomorrow evening!

Regarding the camera - I only saw it afterwards - I might be on their "wanted" list in the Strand.  Fortunately, where I was parked, there wasn't any cameras, so they wouldn't be able to trace me from my registration number - I hope!

Oops, just remembered I called the caretaker from my cell - damn, they could trace me that way?

Good luck  . I suggest  you  take a driving  course  from  our  taxi drivers  then you will have at hand all the necessary recklesness and skills to evade  whenever you see the  suspicious  dark  car following you ..
