Thanks SandyB and Rhona, yes she is still doing fine but is still frail.  She will still be in hospital this week but hopefully they will let her go home next week, they are going to send the health care lot over there to see that she is able to manage on her own with a bit of help as she is also nearly blind too. So far so good.

Hi Paula -sorry but I've only just read about your gran. I am glad though to hear that she is doing fine and I'm sure that, with a bit of determination, she will soon be out of hospital. Can you not convince her to move back to England with you lot so that you can keep a closer eye on her?

Julie tried and she didn't want to come to England, she has her little routine that she does in Scotland, her sister that is younger then her and her sons help out with odds and ends.  I think at her age and nearly blind it is easier for her to get around the places that she already knows.
