 Fanie ...  Sandy's Friend .. indeed  so he does not want to tell me how much for accomdation  ( gratis ?  then definitely so ) or give confirmation ... Oh well its  a ' namibian thing " i suppose ...
Me and Paul went out down the road .. woodstock lounge the place that Diana likes cos its got poles .. just shared two platters and chatted ..  feeling trepidation .. my birthday coming up tomorrow ,, normally  i would be arranging a party .. would take a day off work .. do the shop start preparing all nice goodies ,, tension builds up in home .. me and Johnboy in true fashion ripping each others livers and spleens out . ( no only joking but getting an event together is sort of stressfull  and  two strong egos can clash  )  most importantly  we would get a good  thing together  and once all toghether I did not have to wory for a thing cos he would leave me to get pissed with guests  and take care of all the small details throughout the evening ..  .. well this year  that support not there ..  so far I not had the mental energy to piece something together .. will do something later in Sept before i  go to Thailand in Oct ..  whatever ..  strangley in other postings i refer to what you  think / project comes back to you ..  in this case .. just good things ..  tonight .. at woodstock lounge ,  all i have had is people coming up to me and saying how much they miss Johnboy with their Rugby  events .. he would always go there   to watch the matches .. have a  few .. and mutter all the time .. " you doos  dont  you know  how to handle a ball "  etc etc .. he knew well enough  used to play for Paarl gymnasium and then  the Paarl team after  high school ..  just so good to hear peoples good memories  of a fine soul ...  Oh well heres  to us all and a bright future ..  tomorrow another  " number " gets notched onto my belt of life ..
