Good plan 99 - I'll set up a bank account and so if ye'd all like to post your donations to me in the Emerald Isles, I'll make sure it is kept safe until there is enough for new wheels  image11a

On the name of  Ford Focus .. over the years I have  picked up some   word play on the names of cars ... guess some  .. some  are obvious .. have fun..

Dustbin Cripple S
Fraud Concertina
Toyota Landcrusher
Ford  ... Focus ? well Foc you too
Ford ...  Icon .. and  you cant ..
Fiat Uno .. Uno het jy 'n klomp kak gekoop
Oops I appear to be  doing a bit of Ford bashing here    giverose
the rest escape my mind at the moment  although i drove Citroens for many years  .. citrus .. and yes one could say that some of them were definite  lemons ..  my first club was ..
furthermore  my Opel kadetts although feisty and  fast .. were both troublesome at times .. including post delivery  brand spanking new  problems ...

My new CLIO I Bought despite the swathe of bad  reports from my mechanic Winston  telling me not to touch Renault .. has been totally fault free . not one glitch .. and yes I do not roll cars ...
If one ever wants good old fashioned  personal mechanic attention I  can recomend Winston  one of the old school of  service  providers .. .  he always sees a way around a problem and looks for the most cost effective way of solving a problem ,, if you want personal service just ask me for his contact details ...

Hah ! yu got my mind pumping  .. First In All Troubles   although they have like so many manufacturers  come to the qulaity party .. strangely enough  some leading manufacturers had severe problems but seemed to have  a sort of blind loyalty that carried them through .. others got picked on ..

Fix or Replace Daily.... FORD

This is my 5th Ford actually and has served me well

1st Ford Escort 1.6
2nd Ford Cortina 2.0
3rd Ford Sierra 2.0
4th Ford Sierra Station Wagon 2.0
5th Ford Focus 2.0

I must point out that I am not from Parow or white trash so don't ask me how it happen, but I think I have enough of FORD's for this life time

Michele Alexander (Voden)

My dad was a Ford man - big time - i'll always remember his bright red T-shirt with a picture of a Ford on it with the saying "Old Fords never die, they just go faster"...........we had a 1955 beige Ford with white leather seats - what possessed him to get white with 3 kids, i'll never know.  Anyway, this old car took us all over SA on our holidays each year - there was always a fight between us 3 kids as to who was going to sleep on the back "dashboard" while travelling- it was big enough that a kid could lie on it with the sun warming the bones with the lull of travelling rocking you into a gentle sleep. My mom always had to intervene and allocate turns to make it fair. I have good memories of that old car.
