Went out to the casino with a few young ones and most of them faded by 12.00am....me.... stayed up to party at someone's house with my boss dancing to Fleetwood Mac and didn't get home till 5.30 am................

Yes it does feel strange..but a good scary feeling. Left the desert in 1985...never thought i would travel half way across the world to come back to it....Is there anybody else going to be there from the UK

Just got back in from supper ... had a busy day ... packing out .. sealing off kitchen  and foodstuffs ...  opening cupboards .. drawers .. .. then setting out the dreaded  fumigating bombs ...   pack us all into car ...  go back into  house .. light dreaded stnky bombs  .. flee  lock doors .. and leave them to do their work .. had  a comeback of fabric moths .. they eat anything woolen or cotton and the valuable book collection .. so i double dosed ..  will repaeat in two weeks time .. anyhpw fled to my friend Allan for 5 hours ..  we got back  .. as per usual no amount of airing gets rid of that   smell only a day or two and  copious amount of inscence  so out we go again for dinner  .. ( place smells like an eastern temple )  and may i recomend the best  is  cinnamon or clove inscence .. the  rest  smell  heavy and cheap .. those two mentioned are very cleansing ..  so what our new  50's doing challenging ??  dont .. be  gracious ..  we do get curveballed sometimes and cannot bounce back like when we were in our 20's ..  I never challenge .. I just grab the moment if its all good ..

@ Barbara... Tommy Lawrie, His daughter, Kerrie Jean and Gary are also on their way out from Scotland....... kerrie was born here and left as a baby.... it is her 21st in November.........

Just been to the morning market at Milnerton  to get another shower hose , old one broke  and still looking for  drawer handles and front door postbox  replacement thingy that was ripped off  ..  got shower hose and some more inscence at bargain ... went to Greek for brunch grilled musrooms  with tomato and salad and haloumi gratin .. yummy and healthy ... two easy glasses of  semi sweet  white wine to wash it down .. its kind of raining here .. so  an excuse to  snooze  whiole the list of summer jobs on the house grows ... ha  ha ...  rest  and spoil meself for now I will ...

Just came back from a crappy day at work..... hopped in the pool with my two girls, dog running circles around the pool, washed the day away!  Roll on Monday!
