True Mike!! and as its said RECORDS are made to be broken.

They are trying to get Bret Lee fit for the third test.

Their batting was not bad four centuries in an innings (first test) they should have won that.

Three to go its great CRICETTTTTTTTTTTT........................ image04

Typical British summer weather. I rather fancy a draw for this test..........

Then England to win the next one and regain the Ashes............. (Am I dreaming.............?????????????)

Your dinner sounds inviting Frank, can I gatecrash........??????

I see England are now in front but with only two days to go, a draw sounds probable

No worries there Mike !!!! Tomorrow its lambs liver and bacon mashed potatoes peas and a rich grave sauce.

I can imagine a lot of the younger members disgusted with this cuisine............................................... image201

Yes getting a wee bit anxious with this test it could go England's way !! just hope the Aussies can hang on but with two wickets down and one day to go, think we are praying for rain.... image04

Don't like liver at all but the rest sounds good. Just read your message to Jenny and she said 'YES PLEASE" to your menu.  feedme

Oh, I don't know some of the younger ones like a good old fry up, ask Mike A.

Now, down to the real thing at hand, as said before, I think it will end in a draw, England's bowlers do not have that killer instinct to go after the oppontents with one day to go and the batsmen are not that aggresive either.

Mmmh! mike V is correct, I had Gemsbok Poffadder on the braai on Sunday evening...... gemsbok liver onions spice and a bit of fat, squashed into a large casing, kinda like a black puddin without the blood....

Steak and Kidney pie or pudding these dishes were made from OFFAL and that's what they could afford in them day's
I have noticed these day's you need a hundred or so ingredients to make a meal according to these cooking programs.

Yes I was able to see the end of the 3rd test about an hour ago (knew the results) I was watching it live last night but its to late
and as you say Mike the drew was on the cards.

I thought England's bowlers might get stuck in but Clark and North stuck it out and now its 2 left its great......... image04

Give me a good old gert oggie, big Cornish Pastie for those that don't know what a gert oggie is. Must say, Jen makes a good one, just as good as what my Mum used to make.

If England can force two more draws all well and good but they must certainly pull up their socks if they want to win the last two tests and regain the Ashes.

Think both teams are suffering with injury's, that one of Flintoff 'OUCH' think that ankle will be a wee bit sore.
There again its amazing what these physios can come up with.

Three days rest!!! No Worries just let me at them.

Have not heard if Lee is fit to play, hope he can it will make the next two games very interesting ..................... image04
