Tortoise....... but in the Butchery it is actually a piece of Liver wrapped in the Net Vet (fat from around) the kidney's, spiced and lekker on the braai......

Mike, the net-vet is actually fat from around the stommach of  sheep, goat or cattle.  You can wrap the kidneys in the net-vet as well and braai it like the liver.  Some people even do it with heart (sliced open, flattened and then wrapped).

Mike....Gosh I don't think I've tasted skilpaadjies since leaving OMD.... if you can smuggle them across the boarder and get them here by tonight I would love some ..... come on I got your daughter's book to you !!!!

I'm not too sure about England, but in Ireland and smoking; nobody can smoke indoors at work or in the pubs anymore. Most of the pubs have smoking areas so at least you don't get wet............Yep! It's still raining!!! As far as I know England are following on from us on the smoking ban.............

The same laws apply here in england, get fined if you are caught throwing cigs on the floor.

No matter what laws they bring in, if you are a smoker you will find a way to have a smoke even if you got to sit ontop of the house roof!

I hear that if you have a none smoker in the house you can't smoke even in your own home, hmmmmmmm, think there are a lot of men that have a room in the shed at the bottom of the garden now! hahaha
