I'll add it to the collection, I fancied Comet for some strange reason....

Pilot is close to Comet and also a nice name. Don't want to pee on your battery Mike but those puppies in the pictures just don't look that happy and well-cared for, maybe the photos are just not good?

I think the way they look, scruffy would be the name for me,

also if not well cared at the moment, mike will look after them for sure to become a good friend.

I like Seamus ..  the  nice celtic ring to it ... its like I called my yorkieboy Byron .. I got him from the SPCA he looked like nothing but after 2 baths  and grooming there emerged a full size Yorkie as they used to be  before they were bred down to the minaturised things they are now .. he  must have been a  throwback cos you dont see many around that size  6+ Kg  anyhow he got the name cos of the proud way he carried himself  like a  little aristocrat  so named after Lord Byron ... I like giving animals human names it gives them so much more diginty ..  Tina was named after Tina Turner cos of her tangle of blonde hair ....
To see  sometimes  requires that you  first believe .

The guy who is the go between the puppies has known me for 4 years, he even came to my house 3 years back for a braai and met Dollar, he knows what I am looking for and is adement that the bloodline is of tone of the highest qualities in ZA, the father is a champ dog in ZA and there are papers coming with the dog to prove it... the dog will also have the "Tatoo" to prove the authenticity of the breed!

Sounds good, like Georg snr said, a bath etc and you won't be able to recognise him. My friend got a cat that looked terrible, I thought she was mad to take such a scruffy cat when there were so many cute ones for sale but after excellent feeding and grooming, her cat turned out quite beautiful.

I thought the puppies were cute. Got my Zak from a squatter camp, the vet said he'd be about the size of a collie. Well he turned out to be a handsome 40kg GSD.With a lovely nature. Michael as long as he/she has a strong name,GSD's or do not have woesy names . I kinda like that Shaymus name.

Hi Mike - what about calling the dog RORY....

Dalene Steenkamp (Coetzee)

The name Seamus is of Irish origing, male and means "supplanter"  (Whatever that means)?

after checking the pictures of the pups mike, ive come up with two names, smudge and mitch, keep us posted mike, cheers

Comet  -  big fireball thing in the sky with a tail trailing behind it.  That accurately describes the new pup in full speed going through your garden.  Good choise, Mike!
