"President Mugabe yesterday arrived here ahead of a meeting of Sadc Heads of State and Government today in the Namibian town of Oramjemund to discuss potential business opportunities stemming from South Africa's hosting of the Fifa Soccer World Cup next year.

He was received by the Namibian Minister of Youth, Sport and Culture Mr Willem Konjore, Keethmanshoop Mayor Mr Bezille Brown and Zimbabwe's Ambassador to Namibia Chipo Zindoga."

I definitely thought there were going to be more people! However everything ran as smooth as it could have as usual the ministers arrived about 40min late for the emptying of the calabash but what is new. I included a couple pics of what my car looked like after driving along the wet gravel round might trigger some fond or some not fond memories of driving the port nolloth - Oranjemund roads in the old days

"ZIMBABWEAN President Robert Mugabe yesterday revered the rain-making powers of President Hifikepunye Pohamba while speaking at the Boundless Southern Africa Presidential Day Programme in Oranjemund.

Mugabe, 85, while giving his well wishing remarks to Pohamba, who turned 76 on Tuesday, said the continent, particularly Namibia must share the 'mysterious powers' that lie in his Namibian counterpart.
"He brought rain on the day of his inauguration in 2005, yesterday on his birthday and now we had unseasonal rains here in Oranjemund. The honourable President has some mysterious powers which must be revered and shared as knowledge," said the Zimbabwe Head of State who also attended Pohamba's on 21 March 2005.
Pohamba hosted Mugabe and Botswana leader Seretse Ian Khama as well as Prime Ministers of Lesotho and Swaziland and Ministers of Tourism from several other regional countries to conclude the nine nations Boundless Expedition which was done by Kingsely Holgate to market tourism and investment opportunities in seven Trans Frontier Conservation Areas (TFCA) as a development strategy for World Cup 2010.
Surprise rains hit Oranjemund the whole of Tuesday derailing some of the preparations for the day's event and Mugabe said it is all because of the rain-making powers of Pohamba.
In 2005, there were also untimely rains immediately after his inauguration in Windhoek and Mugabe's sentiments were echoed by Minster of Tourism Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah who said the rain-making powers of the President were increasingly becoming noticeable wherever he went and on specific events which had a personal bearing to his life."

There was a visit in the mine today by somebody in 10 black veh, 2 white veh and a red veh amazing how they charge down the road clearing the way , I wonder do the chaps in the black veh wear black suit's and then we can refer to them as "Men in black"
