There was no icon of fish so now you know whay we had fish and :emot10:

we had Yorkshire pudding, half a chicken roast potatoes, mash potatoes, peas, carrots, cabbage and lots of gravy and that was all on one plate for each person. Flip, the sunday lunches here are huge and I don't undrstand why the people here give you mash and roast potatoes in one sitting or the also give you mash and boiled potatoes.

And they wonder why the people are obese here!

We had some selfmade smoked pork sausages and salads.
Typical German. Pork!

Yesterday was the usuall - Sunday roast that could feed a family of 6 with yorkshire puddings peas , carrots , mash and roast potatoas with loads of gravy.  Chicken all finnished cause we are gready sh*ts in our house,  Me thinks I'll make a big pot of Irish stew tonight for tomorrow night yum yum  :emot172:

We are going to have a fondue on Friday evening for our Admin end of year function

Anybody have any interesting ideas for the fondue. So far we have the normal chicken, steak, pork, mushrooms, cheese grillers, baby potatoes and a new one for me - crumbed cauliflower - sounds interesting.



And please, lets try and keep the pole dancing out of this one!

We had a good sunday dinner,
Roast beef, yorkshire pudding, roast pototoes, carrots, brussel sprouts, cauliflower with cheese sauce, and loads of gravy, made by my son. Going to miss him cooking on a sunday when he goes to S A at the end of the month.     Bjorn

Baby prawns & strips of baby hake fillet makes for a good change.

Also  -  bread dough rolled into little balls to make a small little "vetkoek" that you dip into cheese or some other sauce.   

Small mushrooms also work and can also be be dipped in sauces and or crumbs before or after taking them out of the pot.
